2.1 Camera Permission

- QR Code Scanning: To scan QR codes for class attendance, meeting access, and course materials
Note: Camera permission is optional. You can deny this permission and still use core App features. You can upload images from your gallery instead.

- Class Attendance Verification: To verify your physical presence at in-person tutoring sessions and classes
- Nearby Tutors and Courses: To show you tutors, tutoring centers, and educational resources in your area

Note: Location permission is optional for most features. You can use the App in "approximate location" mode or deny location access. Core learning features remain fully functional without location data.

- Storage: To save course materials, certificates, and offline content
- Notifications: To send class reminders, assignment deadlines, and important updates

7.1 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. To delete your account:
- Go to your Account Settings in the app https://www.sugarclass.com/delete-account
- Select "Delete Account" and follow the prompts
- Or contact us at system@sugarclass.com to request account deletion
When you delete your account, your personal information will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (such as transaction records for tax compliance).
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under the applicable age, we will delete it promptly.
